Did The Messiah Lie?

Psalms 19: 7

The Torah of יהוה is perfect, bringing back the being; The witness of יהוה is trustworthy, making wise the simple;”

AtarahYahu  you done lost your mind! How are you going to even question that?!

No really. It’s a legit question. The reason why I ask this, is because of a common trend that I see among-st those who state. They whole heatedly believe in the Word coming through the Messiah Yahusha – ( research his true name is not Jesus Christ nor does it translate as such. 😉 )-  Moving on! However, they act as tho he lied in regards to the things that he stated that we CAN do. I’ve said that myself several times!

How do we know that the Messiah is who he said he was? -He was perfect.

Now, how do we exactly know if someone is perfect? In order for you to know what Good is, you’d have to know the Bad. Now from my previous post ” Universally “Good” is Functional ” We somewhat understand that Good means to be Functional. Hence if something is not Functional then it is not Good; read more on previous post for a bit more insight. Now we know that the Torah -the word of the creator- is Good and Perfect

Proverbs 4:2

For I gave you good instruction: Do not forsake my Torah.”

Quick Word Study: Hebrew word Perfect

H8549 TaMyM  / תָּמִים

Definition: To be WHOLE; Free of wound or injury; free of defect or impairment; having all its proper parts or components.

Root Word: Perfect/

H8535 TaM  / תם

Definition:  To be MATURE; An overfilling or overflowing. One who is mature and upright as one who is overfilled with integrity. Having completed natural growth and development. An upright and correct nature.

The Torah is perfect. Whole, free of defect’s impairments, overflowing with integrity and the natural growth of development. I really like that last one – natural growth of development – It’s like child that’s within the womb. It’s development is perfect, how it grow’s and comes to term there’s nothing that can be / should be changed in this process, otherwise there is a likely chance of imperfection.  I’ve come to realize that the reason for so many differences among people, is that we tend to define Our own definition as to what something is. “Oh good means you’re a good person, you know”. However, my definition of good may be different from your definition of good. Hence we look at the creators and what HIS definition is. Absolute.

How I like to discipline myself is, my comparison should always be my thoughts, actions and intentions, versus the words of YAHUAH. Do they align? Am I trying to follow suit, or am I going against what is said? The Messiah Yahusha was the living, walking, breathing Torah. Everything, He did, said, acted upon was in line with the Torah. Hence by this we know that He was Perfect. IF he broke ANY 1 of the commandments of the father, than he would no longer be perfect, and we then would know he was NOT of the Father. So now that we have a little bit of ground to stand on, lets get back to my initial question.

Did he lie to us when he said :

Matthew 5:48

“Therefore, be perfect, as your Father in the heavens is perfect.”

If you bare false witness or lie. You would not be keeping the commandments of YAHUAH.  There’s consequences for that, what benefits from lying?

Exodus 20:16 “You do not bear false witness against your neighbour.”

Leviticus 19:1111‘Do not steal, do not lie, do not deceive one another.”

Proverbs 12:22Lying lips are an abomination to יהוה, But those who deal truly are His delight.”

Proverbs 14:5 A trustworthy witness does not lie, But a false witness breathes out lies.”

Now! If we believe that Yahusha the Messiah, was the son of the Father we  KNOW he could not lie! Even He said!

Matthew 5:17-19

17“Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete.

18“For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.

19“Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.

So let us be honest with ourselves for one moment. We relish the thought and love to say that the creator, Loves us! We love his words! Do we really? Or do we love that feel good message before His word? We love to fix our mouths to quote:

Philippians 4:13

I have strength to do all, through Messiah, who empowers me.”

Yet we many times make excuses as to why we can’t keep all those commandments! Have you seen them tho? Are they hard to keep? The very first scripture I posted on this post.

Psalms 19: 7

The Torah of יהוה is perfect, bringing back the being; The witness of יהוה is trustworthy, making wise the simple;”

The Torah of YAHUAH (not your preachers, teachers, brothers instructions but the creators) is perfect, bringing back the being (where have we gone? -led astray-). A trustworthy witness keeps the Torah, and better yet! The Torah Makes the Simple Wise.

There are several people found throughout scriptures, who we know where righteous. If the Messiah, told us to be perfect as the Father is, if we could not achieve such thing that would mean we where set up for Failure, and He would be a liar. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t believe that was the case.

Once we learn how great, how beneficial, how Good, how functional it is for US to keep the Torah, and understand it, you’ve gained a seed of wisdom. You will truly delight to live accordingly to how it was intended to be. And I truly think that is one of the greatest thing’s I am Still learning daily today and am thankful for! It’s a beautiful experience I wish I could express it in words. Hence I had to share what I’ve learned and pray it helps someone else..

Did The Messiah Lie? NO 🙂

So what is our excuse for not striving, and Becoming Perfect?

  1. Judah27 says:

I think people’s definition of perfection is jaded thinking that to be perfect means to be flawless. Many people from many walks of have been indoctrinated with ideologies and doctrines that contradicts with the Divine Order. All we can do is try to be a light that others can follow and if it be follow just as the righteous and perfected ones who came before us.

    1. AtarahYahu says:

Shalum, your absolutely right! We cannot be flawless if we have to be renewed. Without the understatement of the devine order, there cannot be something for us to gage ourselves in respects to whether we are righteous or not. However we are able to be righteous through correction and understanding.
